No August Refresh

There won’t be an August Refresh meeting next week. nGen Works will be traveling down to the University of Florida to speak at The Summer of Web instead. You should too! Here is the tentative title of our talk:

Process to The Rescue
When: August 8th from 10:25 a.m. – 11:25 a.m.

Driving the process is the key to giving your client a pleasant experience and a great product. We’ll share our experiences, tricks and tips for managing your internal web process and your client to make sure the end result kicks ass and everyone has a good time.

There’s an awesome PHP Meetup topic this month so you can still get your web development socializn’ on! August 5th at 7:00pm.

Firefox – Your development friend – FirePHP, Firebug, WDT, YSlow, Jiffy, more

Firefox is a browser that has gained much popularity over the last several years. One of the reasons for that is all of its great tools for web development. We will be talking about several of them with demonstrations of their power.

If you have a good idea for a Refresh topic, email us and let us know. In the meantime, keep an eye out for these upcoming Refresh meetings:

  • Selling Your Value with Carl Smith of nGen Works
  • Designers: Make Your Job Easier with Some User Input with Kevin Berni of Usability inSite
