November 11th Meeting
Topic: Writing Object Oriented JavaScript

The JavaScript language ships with every major bowser, making it one of the most prevalent web development languages in the world. Though it might not be thought of as an object oriented programming (OOP) language like C or Java, it actually is…in its own way.

In this presentation, we’ll discus how to turn your code snippets into modern applications using object oriented JavaScript code. We’ll be covering the basic building blocks of JavaScript OOP including: references, scope, closures, contexts and the more classical OOP topics like constructors and public, private, protected and static members.

P.S. Remember refresh is always BYOB.
